Our mission is to connect the Deaf Community and the outdoors through recreation, education, and job development.

Our Programs

  • Recreation

    Connecting with other Deaf Community members through outdoor recreational opportunities and providing training and workshops in ASL from Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, and late deafened instructors to develop outdoor recreation skills.

  • Education and Training

    Webinars, workshops, trainings, and certifications in outdoor topics such as Leave No Trace, Wilderness First Aid, Outdoor Interpreting, how to work with the Deaf Community in the Outdoors, and ASL Courses for the Outdoors.

  • Career Devlopment

    Conservation Corps Crews provide career training and leadership development opportunities, Internship Placement Programs include job experience and mentorship, and our Stewardship Programs provide hands-on learning for youth interested in the outdoors.
